The good the bad and the buggy. A short review of the park.
The good thing about this park is the amazing waterfall. I cant think of anything bad about this park.
The Parks web page says:
Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge is an 829-acre Georgia state park located between Ellijay and Dahlonega in Dawsonville, Georgia. The park's name is derived from a Cherokee language word meaning "tumbling waters". The park is home to Amicalola Falls, a 729-foot waterfall that is the highest in Georgia.

There is a nice visitor center where you can get maps, post cards etc.

West Ridge Falls Trail is wheelchair accessible with a gentle slope and is coated with recycled tires.
7. How helpful are the parks maps and markers?
You can get a map at the visitor center. The trail is easy to follow.
8. Is the park kid and dog friendly?
Yes. It's a short hike if you just go to the base.
9. Is there tent and RV camping?
Yes Amicalola Falls offers both.
10. Was it worthwhile? Yes Absolutely
