This parks rating is 10 out of 10 stars
The good, the bad, and the buggy, a short review of the park.
The good things about this park is that the trail is all paved and very wide.
The bad things about this park is that there is some muddy marsh land right next to the trail so it attracts bugs and can be a little smelly (not really bad though). The birds really loved it and were everywhere.
The buggy I’m a bug’s favorite chew toy so how much did they love me? Yeah they had some fun.
What Kind of Park is this? This park has a walking/bicycle trail.
1. The Parks views: Answer is I love the railroad underpass and the view of the river as you go thru it.
2. The Parks cost: Free
3. The Parks bathrooms: Yes
4. How long is the hike? This is part of an 18 mile walking, running and bike path. It is about 1/2 a mile to the underpass, but you can make this hike as long or short as you wish.
5. The parks shopping and souvenirs: You can shop in down town Carrollton but there is no shop specifically for the greenbelt. You could go on line and make your own sticker or something if you are creative and want one.
6. Does the park have wheelchair and stroller access? Oh Yes! The entire way is paved.
7. How helpful are the parks maps and markers? Markers are not needed because the path is paved and very easy to follow. You can and should copy the map from this page or google Carrollton Greenbelt Maps and choose one of your own.
8. Is the park kid and dog friendly? Yes, but as with any park dogs should be on a leash and this entrance didn't have a playground etc. near by so just a walk is all the entertainment kids would have from this entrance.

10. Was it worthwhile? Yes!
