The good the bad and the buggy. A short review of the park.

The good things about this park is that if you take the path to the cemetery you then can jog or walk thru the historic and beautiful Oak hill cemetery. Your walk probably will be uninterrupted by cars and possibly other people, and there is just something peaceful about a old cemetery. You can also make this walk/run into anything from a 1/4 mile to a mile depending on how much of the grounds you cover The bad things about this park is that it has no parking and is hard to find. It also has no bathrooms. The address next to it is 159 Jackson St. and it's across the street from the intersection of Jackson St and Parks Ave. I parked in front of lakeside cleaners a short walk from the park. the buggy I’m a bugs favorite person to bite so on a scale of 1 meaning I didn’t get bitten to 10 meaning I was a mosquito, gnat etc. chew toy, this park is a 1. I went during February so there were not going to be bugs.

The Parks web page says:

There is no web page for the park so I put this together based on homes for sale near by. Less than a mile from the Downtown Newnan Square is the quaint Cranford Park which is part of a future section of the LINC path. The paved path leads to Newnan's historic Oak Hill Cemetery.

What Kind of Park is this? Neighborhood park with paved walking path.

1. The parks views:

The park path leads to Oak Hill cemetery and is full of interesting historic graves

2. The Parks cost:

Free

3. The Parks bathrooms:

Doesn't have any

4. How long is the hike?

as long as you make it depending on how much of the grounds you cover and how many "laps" you take.

5. The parks shopping and souvenirs:

Take only pictures with you

6. Does the park have wheelchair and stroller access?

Yes. the paved path leads to paved roads that go around the entire grounds.

7. How helpful are the parks maps and markers?

The plots or sections are numbered and you can see from one end to the other so you really can't get too lost.

8. Is the park kid and dog friendly?

Yes but this is a cemetery, be respectful! Dogs must be on a leash and you MUST clean up after your pup. NO doggie pooping on someone's grave. Just NO.

9. Is there tent and RV camping?

Ha! This obviously doesn't fit for this park.

10. Was it worthwhile? Yes. I liked it.
