Welcome to Dellwood Park located at the intersection of Clifton Road and Ponce De Leon Avenue in Atlanta Georgia not far from the Druid Hills Country Club and Fernbank Museum of Natural History. This beautiful park was designed by the great Frederick Law Olmstead many decades ago. Olmstead also designed New York City's spectacular Central Park. This park is great for walking, biking, and running or for simply coming out to catch a few rays. Come on out and explore! Dellwood Park was Rec Planet Park of the day on January 26, 2014.

The good the bad and the buggy. A short review of the park.
The good things about this park is that it's a really beautiful trail. The bad things about this park is that there is no parking for the park, and no bathrooms. You can park at the Fernbank Museum and walk to the park from there. I would make a day of it and go to the museum and the park plus the walking trail the museum has as well. That way you have a place to eat park and use the bathroom.
