Duncan Park Pool and Splash Pad Hours: 1 PM–6:30 PM Everyday

The Parks Amenities: James and Eric Berry Sports Complex at the back part of the Park, a beautiful ,quiet walking/ running trail, playground, basketball court, tennis courts, picnic pavilions with six tables and grill, benches, lake with canadian geese, doggie cleanup stations, a drinking fountain with dog drinking fountain on the bottom about halfway on the trail and lake overlooks where you can watch the geese and turtles. Oh I almost forgot the parks pool and splash pad. You do have to pay extra to use them. Also the park has 2 parking areas and a nice bathroom building.

Recreation Center with pool and splash pad, lake and picnic pavilions.

Yes the bathrooms are clean and nice

4. How long is the hike?

1.14 mile walk around the lake.

5. The parks shopping and souvenirs:

No this isn't that kind of park

6. Does the park have wheelchair and stroller access?

Yes the road around the lake has very few if any cars and they must go slow because the geese will not move for cars. They waddle very slowly out of the way hopefully.

7. How helpful are the parks maps and markers?

They are not needed. You are walking on the side of the road around the lake.

8. Is the park kid and dog friendly?

Yes. They have cleanup stations for dogs, and a large playground for kids. Not to mention the splash pad and pool.

9. Is there a uniqueness about the park?

Yes, In Addition to the James and Eric Berry Sports Complex that is part of the park it also has a lake with geese a pool with splash pad and several different ball fields. It also has a great playground, several covered picnic pavilions etc. A little something for everyone

10. Was it worthwhile? Yes

Duncan Park Walk/Running Trail is a 3.6 mile (8,000-step) route
