Phone: (770) 214-3580 The 256-acre park is bisected by the Little Tallapoosa River and is laced with almost 7 miles of natural trails for hiking and equestrian use. Amenities include Showers and Laundry for campers, a splash pad, swings and playground for kids, and covered picnic tables.
1. Views: Beautiful park
2. Cost: $5.00 parking fee
3. Bathrooms: 2 bathrooms that are very nice and clean
4. How long is the hike? 3,215 Steps, 1.30 miles and 45 minutes (I stopped to take pictures)
5. Gift Shop: Visitor center has T-shirts for sale and you can pay for parking and get a map.
6. Wheelchair and stroller access? the red trail is paved almost the whole way. There is a short dirt and gravel road next to the pond but you could still get wheels over it though it might be a little bumpy.
7. Maps and markers: Maps are available at the visitor center
8. Kid and dog friendly?: defiantly kid friendly. Dogs are allowed on trails as long as they have a leash.
9. Tent and RV camping?: Yes to both. They also have trails and parking for horse trailers available
10. Was it worthwhile?: Yes
