The good the bad and the buggy. A short review of the park.
The good things about this park it's a really nice park with a pond. There are some ducks and geese the have made the pond their home. The bad thing about this park is that the walking trails it claims to have on the web page is one path with no markers. Also the paved parts of the path are part of the golf path so be on the lookout for skate boarders, bicycles and golf carts. There is a paved path that goes over the bridge on the left then as soon as you cross the bridge on the right side is a trail. Don't look for a sign or a wide path because it looks like a deer trail and there is no sign. Then after you get to a small grassy area stay near the pond and you'll see the small path with, again no sign going along the ponds shore. this takes you to the other paved path and if you go right it will take you over the bridge on the other side of the pond. Then when it splits turn Right toward the gazebo you saw at the beginning of the paved path from the parking lot and it will take you back to where you started. the buggy I’m a bug’s favorite chew toy so how much did they love me? They didn't get me. I went in the beginning of March.
What Kind of Park is this? It's a small community park.
1. The parks views: It has a beautiful pond, trees, gazebo and bridges.
2. The Parks cost: Free
3. The Parks bathrooms: No
4. How long is the hike? Less then a mile. I went a mile but did a lot of walking trying to find the "trails."
5. The parks shopping and souvenirs: I didn't see anywhere to shop near here.
6. Does the park have wheelchair and stroller access? If you stick to the paved part of the path and just go there and back then yes so I'll give it a yes on this one.
7. How helpful are the parks maps and markers? What map? What Markers??? So no.
8. Is the park kid and dog friendly? Yes but keep an eye on the kids if they can't swim and keep your pets on a leash so they don't go after the ducks and geese.
9. Is there good internet service? Yes
10. Was it worthwhile? I'll give it a yes because I like the look of the park and if you know where the trail is it's a nice loop.
