Web page says: The Willie J Lynch Park is a newly renovated (just completed 8/30/2021) park with a baseball field, bathrooms, big playground, 2 picnic gazebos with grills and a dog cleaning station by the parking area. The paved path goes behind the baseball field then loops around toward the pool and play ground area. I take the side walk from the path when it gets to the pool out to the street entrance then follow that side walk around the playground and back to the baseball fields so that the trail is a full mile. If you continue on the walking path instead the loop is a little short of a mile. The pool has a slide mushroom fountain and splash pad.

Cost: $3.00 per person.

What Kind of Park is this?

This is a baseball park, outdoor pool and recreation center. However it also has a walking path that is a mile paved loop.

1. The parks views: The Lynch park is a beautiful well maintained neighborhood park. It is across from the boys and girls club and is worth the trip if you are in the area.

2. The Parks cost: Unless you are going to the pool the park is free. Pool hours and cost are listed above.

3. The Parks bathrooms: The park has new restrooms between the parking area and the baseball fields. I am almost sure they have bathrooms in the pool area as well.

4. How long is the hike?: The path is a mile paved loop.

5. The parks shopping and souvenirs: This park has no souvenirs or shopping but it's very close to down town Newnan.

6. Does the park have wheelchair and stroller access?: Yes

7. How helpful are the parks maps and markers: This park has no maps or markers but they are not needed because the path is very clear and easy to follow.

8. is the park kid and dog friendly?: yes to both.

9. is there a uniqueness about the park?: Although this park has similarities to other recreation centers it also has it's own uniqueness in the hopscotch and play ground as well as the pool and splash pad.
