The park web page says: Tree-shaded park with open fields, 2 playgrounds, a kid-friendly splash pad & walking paths.
What Kind of Park is this?
To me it is mostly a play ground that also has walking paths. It would be a great place for a kids party because it has several large pavilions with picnic tables, and fans and the play park has a huge wooden play ground for bigger kids and a 2nd for smaller kids as well as the splash pad for small children and a second one for bigger kids.
1. The parks views: The
The park is well maintained and beautiful. The Path that loops around the park has pine and other trees all along the way.
2. The Parks cost:
The park is free if you are using the path or the playground. I would call for information on the splash pad or pavilion for rental and hours for parties.
3. The Parks bathrooms:
The park has a bathroom in the main pavilion and another one by the larger playground. The bathrooms are not only clean but have air conditioners if you get overheated.
4. How long is the hike?
1 lap = a little more than a 1/2 mile. 3 laps = 2miles.
5. The parks shopping and souvenirs:
No nothing like that.
6. Does the park have wheelchair and stroller access?
Absolutely.
7. How helpful are the parks maps and markers?
They are not needed.
8. Is the park kid and dog friendly?
Yes, yes it is.
9. Is there a uniqueness about it?
Yes, the wooden playground the kids splash pad, the sculptures and swings with a paved path going thru it all makes it a unique and beautiful park. It's one of my favorite places to go.
10. Was it worthwhile?
Yes. I'll give it a yes because if you are in Newnan and are looking for a flat well maintained paved walking trail this is a great place for you. The no is because 3 laps = 2 miles so if you are looking for a hiking trail your going to be going in circles for a long time and it would definitely not be worth a long drive.
