The good the bad and the buggy. A short review of the park.

1. The parks views:
The trail goes over a beautiful bridge and past the ruins of an old gist mill. You can learn about the history of the park and the mill at the visitor center.

It's free but if you don't have a state park pass then you need to pay $5.00 for parking.

The only bathroom is at the visitor center that you can use at the beginning and end of your hike.
4. How long is the hike?
We (the Newnan Hiking Club) took the orange and yellow trail that was a 5 mile hike and lasted about 3 hours.

You can get drinks snacks T-shirts and other souvenirs at the visitor center.

You can get a map at the visitor center and the trails are clearly marked, well kept and you can find markers on the trees about every 20 or 30 feet.
8. Is the park kid and dog friendly?
Yes. Of course keep your dog/dogs on a leash and be prepared to clean up any mess.

Yes. They also have yurts that I'd like to try some time.
