Web site says: The LINC is a new, exciting multipurpose trail built on public rights of way and greenspace, creating a 26-mile network of paved paths in Newnan, Georgia.
The LINC trail system is enjoyed by walkers, runners, skaters, bicyclists, and people using non-motorized vehicles. Newnan celebrates opening of the latest section of a 26 mile trail.
What Kind of Park is this?
Answer is Walking, Bicycling, Roller-skating, Multi-use trail bordering a nature habitat.
1. The parks views:
The park path winds along side streams and forest. You will see a lot of birds and squirrels but you would be lucky to see any other wildlife. The entire path is paved and flat.
2. The Parks cost: Free
3. The Parks bathrooms: The places you can park to enter the trail have business or other buildings that have bathrooms but there are no bathrooms for the trail itself.
4. How long is the hike? 1 and 1/4 mile each way. Starting from the preforming arts center and going to the subway on Newnan crossing Blvd. and back.
5. The parks shopping and souvenirs: No
6. Does the park have wheelchair and stroller access? Yes anything with wheels or feet.
7. How helpful are the parks maps and markers? You can get a map on google but once you figure out where the trail entrance is you can't go wrong. The trail doesn't have maps though and the markers just tell you where the other entrance points are (example; Summerlin Blvd. Rt. and performing arts center left.)
8. Is the park kid and dog friendly?
Yes
9. Is there a uniqueness to the park?
Yes, although it is the same in many ways to other paved multi-purpose paths.
