The good the bad and the buggy. A short review of the park.

The good things about the Renaissance Festival is you can get your exercise and have a great time doing it. The bad things about the Renaissance Festival is it's hot most of the shops and pubs have AC but the events are out in the sun with little or no cover. the buggy I’m a bugs favorite person to bite so on a scale of 1 meaning I didn’t get bitten to 10 meaning I was a mosquito, gnat etc. chew toy, this park is a 2. Horses and food = bugs, but they weren't bad. They seemed to buzz around alot but I didn't go home with any itchy bites.

The Parks web page says: The Georgia Renaissance Festival comes to life every Saturday, Sunday and Memorial Day, April 15 through June 4, 2023, rain or shine from 10:30am to 6:00pm.

What Kind of Park is this? A Renaissance Festival

bathrooms are in a trailer and have that floor flush pedal. They try to keep them clean and in good order but ...they are okay, not great.

As long or short as you make it.

Yeah, your going to probably buy a fan, maybe a parasol, a dragon of some sort and a sword. Also a turkey leg and beer is kind of mandatory, maybe not the beer but you will get thirsty.

6. Does the park have wheelchair and stroller access?

Answer is Yes. although many of the path ways are dirt and have ruts to navigate.

7. How helpful are the parks maps and markers?

They are great. Don't forget to get one at the front gate. Maybe get one per person and circle a meeting place and pick a time to meet for lunch so everyone can do their own thing.

8. Is the park kid and dog friendly?

Service Dogs are allowed provided they are kept under control by their owner and have proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination. Service Dogs in Training are allowed so long as such trainer is identified as an agent or employee of a school for seeing eye, hearing, service, or guide dogs. Emotional support animals or other pets are not allowed to enter the Festival. Kids of course are welcome

9. Is there a uniqueness to the Renaissance Festival?

Of course. You should go at least once.

10. Was it worthwhile? Yes!
