The park did have picnic tables and fishing is allowed on the river. You can also swim at the falls but the water is dirty. The old mill had information about it on signs on the overlook.

Historic Park and hiking - walking trail.
1. The parks views:
The park has many beautiful views off the bridge, of the old mill and of the man made waterfall.
2. The Parks cost:
Free
3. The Parks bathrooms:
The parks bathroom are clean and well maintained.
4. How long is the hike?
The hike to the falls is about 5 minutes probably a mile there and back.
5. The parks shopping and souvenirs:
None
6. Does the park have wheelchair and stroller access?
I'm not sure. They had a wheel chair access to the mill lookout and certainly to and from the bridge, but you can't get to the base of the falls with a wheel chair or stroller and the park is very much geared for hikers who can go over and around things when hiking.
7. How helpful are the parks maps and markers?
Not very helpful at all. None of the maps had any you are here dot and none of the trails were labeled to tell you where the trail went or what it was called. I found the waterfall by accident, it was not on the map and neither is the mill.
8. Is the park kid and dog friendly?
Yes, but I would go myself first so that I know where I'm going. Finding things with a tired kid in tow would be exhausting.
9. Was there a uniqueness to the park?
The water fall and view from the bridge were great. I also enjoyed the old remains of what was once a mill (I think?) It would make a great steam punk background for a photo.
10. Was it worthwhile?
Once I found my way around yes.
