Discover this 1.4-mile loop trail near Sharpsburg, Georgia. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 27 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking, mountain biking, and running, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
I say: This is probably a great trail for mountain bikes. It has all the small hills for jumps and plenty of curves. It is not really a good trail for hiking though. I went on a Friday and had the park to myself and there were doggie paw prints so I don't doubt that at least some people take their dogs for a walk there BUT it is right next to the highway and the cars and trucks make so much noise that you can't hear anything else. You do go through the woods and it has a good smooth dirt parking lot, but no bathrooms or amenities of any kind and the noise from the highway keeps it from being a relaxing walk through the forest. I give it a 2 out of 10 star rating. One star for being free and one for being about a mile loop, so a nice length for a hike. If it had a bathroom and was a little farther away from the highway it would get a lot better rating.
